MASSAGE ON BABIES: Various studies have show that massage, when begun early in life, not only stimulates the infant's physical and psychological development but also helps estrablish an affectionate and loving relationship with his parents.

Through touch, babies feel the presence, love and energy of their parents. After all, touch is the first sense to develop. Already when the foetus is developing in the womb, the amniotic fluid in which it grows massage it constantly, providing it with warmth and feeling of security. During the final stage of labour, the baby experiences massage like stimulation as it is pushed through the birth canal. The sensation ti experience once it is born is vastly different from the security of his mothe's womb so feeling his parent's loving touch can re-establish that security. Massage should therefor be a part of your baby's daily care routine, not only after birth but befor. Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBAh58UDPsA
